Privacy policy

Please note that in establishing this privacy policy, the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Internship Alumni Association has tried to balance concern for individual privacy with our collective goal of fostering stronger links among intern alumni. The following policy was developed following consultation with our membership.

Any personal information contained in this database is collected solely for the internal use of the Parliamentary Internship Alumni Association, to inform alumni of recent developments and upcoming events. The sole external party with access to database information is the British High Commission, which graciously supplied the original database. In the same spirit, the Association has agreed to share new information and contact information changes with the High Commission in the future.

Contact information for intern alumni has been posted on this site to allow interns to keep in touch with one another. It is to be used for no other purpose, commercial or otherwise. Please do not share information with outside parties.

Contact numbers listed are daytime (i.e. work) numbers; home phone numbers are used only in cases where work numbers were not available. If you wish to have a contact number listed other than the one contained in the database, please contact the PIAA by e-mail.

The Parliamentary Internship Alumni Association will provide no further contact information for intern alumni. Alumni wishing more complete information must use the information provided on this site to contact individuals directly.
